Turbo HD 4.0 recorders feature the HD-TVI technology developed by Hikvision. This technology makes it possible to apply high-resolution cameras to COAX cabling. The advantage of HD-TVI technology is that it is easy to apply, even to the infrastructure of existing analog camera systems. Thanks to this technology, there is little delay in the image and distances of up to 700 meters can be achieved.

The Entry Level Turbo HD 4.0 recorder is Hikvision's entry-level HD-TVI recorder. The recorder supports H.265 and is suitable for resolutions up to 4MP Lite with a frame rate of up to 15fps. When applying Lite mode, the recorder halves the horizontal pixel lines making it possible to display 1080p at 25 frames per second and 4MP at 15 frames per second.
