Battery
The batteries in the AJAX alarm system last up to 7 years. There is a backup battery in the AJAX central unit in case the power goes out. This keeps the AJAX alarm system fully functional. The battery can last up to 10 hours if there is a power failure. When the power goes out, an alert will be sent to the specified alert addresses. This will be done over Ethernet and/or through the GSM network.
