The Ajax Hub 2 is compatible with the Ajax Motioncam. Besides that, the Backup battery is slightly improved. The battery lasts 15 hours in case of power failure, instead of 10 hours. Also, the improved hub can contain two GSM sim-cards in stead of one.

Battery
The batteries in the AJAX alarm system last up to 7 years. There is a backup battery in the AJAX alarm center in case of power failure. This keeps the AJAX alarm system fully functional. The battery can last up to 10 hours if there is a power failure. When the power goes out, an alert will be sent to the specified alert addresses. This will be done over Ethernet and/or through the GSM network.
