The FireProtect 2 AC complies with NEN 2555, in is suitable for installation in homes and offices in the rental sector. The detector is powered by a mains voltage of 110-240 V~ and has a sealed battery that serves as a backup. Even during a power failure, the detector continues to operate smoothly. There are three versions of the FireProtect 2 (Heat/Smoke/CO), sealed battery (SB), replaceable battery (RB) and 230VAC mains power (AC) .

- The SB (Sealed Battery) version is equipped with two NON-replaceable lithium batteries with a life of 10 years. this detector must be replaced when the battery is empty.
- The RB (Replacable Battery) variant is equipped with 2x CR123A battery, which can be replaced.
- The AC (230V mains supply) variant is equipped with backup battery and is supplied with 230VAC mains supply ( NEN 2555 suitable )
